Setup

Ada Setup for Windows and Linux, which puts Ada next to the system you have now.

installer

A few parts keep their own licences: the compositor and UI kit are MIT, and the earlier Pearl shell is GPL-3.0. THIRD-PARTY.md lists every one.

Build it.

Ada is built on Linux (Ubuntu 26.04, or WSL on Windows) with Rust, and with Nix for the pinned Qt and desktop libraries. You can try the desktop in a window before you install anything.

experiments/adacomp/run-desktop.sh

The README walks through the shell, the compositor, a full release and the installer image.
